Great location and nice staff
The hotel location is brilliant and the decor of our room was lovely as well as the floor corridors decor on the first floor where we were. Staff were all pleasant also. The little garden terrace is lovely too despite being shared. The weather meant we didn’t use it but it’s great having the option there. Everything you would need is in the room and it was cleaned daily which was lovely.
The bed mattress is very hard so I didn’t sleep well. It was fine since only for a few days but I wouldn’t have enjoyed that if staying for longer. Overall the hotel is great. I have family in Granollers so would be coming back to stay for up to 2 weeks but because of the discomfort from the mattress I would only stay at the Fonda if it were for short periods unless the mattress comfort changed. It’s also quite noisy between 10pm and 1am within the hotel ( but it was a weekend) and the housekeepers start to knock on the door from 8am - which is quite annoying since I’m on holiday and have a child so we were woken up very early by this. I learnt in the end to put the ‘shhh’ sign on but wouldn’t expect such an early wake up call regardless. We own a hotel and would never knock before 10.30am.

Excellent hotel !!
We always stay here as our daughter and her partner live in Granollers. Hotel is located in city centre and very convenient. Restaurant offers a fantastic Spanish/Catalan meal and really enjoy it.
